Little Mt. Doug
Located in Mt. Douglas Park on the south-facing slope to the west side of Mt. Douglas. Description: This site consists of very dry Garry oak savanna with mixed grasses and forbs and some stunted Garry oaks. Some broom removal projects and accidental fires have occurred on the site. Site Objective: Restore to a Garry oak/rocky outcrop ecosystem, focusing on the removal and control of broom into the area. |
